Offering courses in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka
in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin
Updated on 23-Apr-2014
All courses offered at the Dhamma Dipa Vipassana Meditation Centre and other locations in the UK are conducted by assistant teachers of S. N. Goenka using audio and video tapes of Mr. Goenka's instructions and discourses.
Please note: All courses are offered subject to the availability of assistant teachers, who are volunteers like all course servers. In the rare event that an assistant teacher is unavailable, the course will have to be cancelled and we will inform you by email. We will try to do this at least two weeks before the start date.
Various old student courses, including 10-day courses, are being held at Dhamma Padhana, adjacent to Dhamma Dipa, for students who meet these requirements . Please click here for more details.
All ten day courses begin on the evening of the first day and end on the early morning of the last day.
All courses are run solely on a donation basis. All expenses are met by donations from those who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the same opportunity. Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration; they and those who serve the courses volunteer their time. Thus Vipassana is offered free from commercialisation.
